 MORE THAN A CROWN: THE HEART OF THE INTRAMURALS

Snagging the crown and earning the Ms. Intramurals title was a moment I will always put close to my heart. When my name was proclaimed, I felt a rush of disbelief and joy at the same time. The cheers from the crowd surrounded me, and for a moment, everything felt unreal. I frankly did not expect to win, especially with so many talented and confident candidates on stage. Each of them showed their own strength and grace, which made the experience even more meaningful. It was not just about standing out but about representing my team and the spirit of the whole event.

THE CROWN & ITS GLORY 


Still, the experience was about more than just the crown. The entire week of intramurals was filled with energy, laughter, and competition. I was able to watch different sports such as basketball games that kept everyone shouting, volleyball matches that showed teamwork, and track events where every second mattered. Even the quieter sports like chess and badminton revealed focus and determination. Seeing everyone give their best reminded me that the real essence of intramurals lies in unity, effort, and respect among players.



The pageant and the games were closely connected. Both required preparation, confidence, and heart. While athletes showed strength on the court, we, as candidates, showed it on stage. In the end, it was not about who looked the best or who scored the most points but about representing teamwork, determination, and pride in our departments.

Winning Ms. Intramurals will always be one of my proudest achievements, but what made it truly special was sharing the moment with everyone who competed, cheered, and celebrated together. It taught me that victory becomes more meaningful when it grows from a community that supports and inspires one another.

CLEAN AND GO GREEN

  BE A BEARER OF CHANGE  Issue No. 5 | Clean Up Drive | August 24, 2025 This photo depicts me as I pick up waste in our surroundings that hinder us from having a clean environment.  Through sweeping away the plastic waste found in the corners of our community, we can help build a stronger environment.  You can see here how sweeping leaves in our homes is also factor in our community's beautification.  Through thorough cleaning, we can make our greenery stand out, just like what can be seen in the picture. With a broom and a dustpan, we can make small changes for the betterment of our environment.  Picking up trash along our roads is also a way of helping our community to flourish.  To wrap it up, community involvement and initiative are a must if we want to achieve our goal, which is to attain a greener and brighter environment not only for us, but also for the future generations.
